History
In 2007, 7 local
business gathered to discuss the future of
technology in El Paso. This group later came to be
known as the Southwest Technology Consortium. “We
were 7 individuals who had a vision, an idea to
collaborate and form a one-stop-shop for
technology,” stated Marc Madrid of SharedVision
Solutions.
Each company
realized that their strength, the growth of the
economy locally and their offerings to their
clientele could increase based on collaboration.
“We knew we couldn’t be an expert at
every technology out there, but we could use our
collaboration to become just that!” stated Dana
Gooding of CNS.
